Magpul Industries MOE AKM Hand Guard AK-47/AKM/AK-74 M-LOK Polymer/Stainless Plum

The Magpul Industries MOE AKM Hand Guard is a drop-in replacement forend designed for stamped-receiver AK-47, AKM, and AK-74 pattern rifles equipped with a front sling loop on the hand guard retainer. It pairs a lightweight reinforced polymer body with an internal stainless steel heat shield, bringing modern ergonomics and accessory compatibility to the classic Kalashnikov platform while protecting the support hand from barrel and gas-tube heat.

Integrated M-LOK slots along the sides and bottom allow the user to mount lights, lasers, foregrips, bipods, and other M-LOK accessories directly to the guard without adapters or factory hardware changes. The Plum colorway gives the build a distinctive Magpul-exclusive finish. Measuring 8.0" long and 2.5" tall at approximately 0.69 lbs, this guard is a near-direct swap for the original factory furniture using the rifle's existing hand guard retainer.

This MOE AKM guard is intended specifically for stamped-receiver AK variants with the front sling loop on the retainer; rifles with a different retainer configuration may require the alternate MOE AK model. The hand guard is Made in the USA and is sold as the hand guard only - no additional accessories, optics, or furniture are included.
