Magpul Industries MIAD/MOE AA/AAA Battery Storage Core Polymer - Black

The Magpul MIAD/MOE Battery Storage Core is an internal replacement core designed to drop directly into Magpul MIAD, MOE, MOE+, MOE-K2, and MOE AK pistol grips. Made in the USA from durable black polymer, this MAG056-BLK insert converts the grip into a self-contained, water-resistant storage cavity that carries two spare batteries right on the rifle, with a rubber cap sealing out moisture and debris so spares stay ready when an optic or weapon light goes down in the field.

The core is engineered to hold two AA or two AAA batteries in the same footprint. An included internal spacer takes up the slack for the shorter AAA cells, giving rattle-free storage for either battery size without modifying the grip housing. The smooth polymer construction installs in place of the standard grip core and adds no bulk to the firearm.

This core is built for AR-platform rifles and is compatible with AR-10, AR-15, M4, M16, M110, and SR25 pattern firearms running a compatible Magpul grip. It is an ideal backup-power solution for red dots, weapon lights, and other electronics carried on the rifle, keeping fresh cells on the gun without a separate battery case.
