Magpul Industries MBUS Front Sight Polymer Folding Back-Up - Flat Dark Earth

The Magpul MBUS Front Sight is a lightweight, low-profile folding back-up iron sight (Model MAG247) built from injection-molded polymer and finished in Flat Dark Earth. Designed as a rugged, affordable back-up aiming solution for the modern sporting rifle, this front sight clamps directly to any M1913 Picatinny-railed hand guard and is specifically tailored to the AR-15/M16 platform.

A spring-loaded deployment button allows the sight to be quickly flipped up into firing position or stowed flat against the rail when not in use, with internal detents holding it firmly in either position. Elevation is adjustable at 1.60 MOA / 1.20 MOA via the central sight post using the included MBUS Sight Adjustment Tool to fully depress the detent before rotating the post in the desired direction.

The standard MBUS is built entirely from polymer (as opposed to the steel MBUS Pro line), keeping it virtually weightless on the rail and making it a popular pairing with a primary red dot or low-power variable optic on a flat-top AR-15 upper.
