Magpul Industries MBUS Front Sight Gen 2 AR-15/M16 Stealth Gray Polymer Flip-Up

The Magpul MBUS Sight Front (Generation 2, MAG247) is a low-cost, polymer folding back-up iron sight tailored specifically to the AR-15/M16 platform. Built with a color injection molding process, this front sight provides a rugged, lightweight aiming point that mounts directly to any 1913 Picatinny rail and is dimensioned for use on most 1913 Picatinny-railed hand guards.

The MBUS Front uses a spring-loaded flip-up design that deploys at the press of an ambidextrous release button and locks solidly upright via internal detents. When not needed, the sight folds flush out of the sight picture and is held securely in the stowed position, giving a clean, snag-free profile on flattop AR-pattern carbines and rifles. Pair it with a matching MBUS rear for a complete low-profile back-up sight system.

Elevation is tuned with 1.60 MOA per-click adjustment using the included MBUS Sight Adjustment Tool to fully depress the elevation detent and rotate the sight post. The Stealth Gray polymer construction keeps weight to a minimum while delivering the durability expected of a Magpul back-up sight, making this Gen 2 MBUS Front an affordable, purpose-built aiming solution for the AR platform.
