Magpul Hunter Lite Savage AXIS Short Action Rifle Stock - Flat Dark Earth

The Magpul Hunter Lite stock is a purpose-built, lightweight replacement chassis designed specifically for Savage AXIS and AXIS II rifles chambered in short action calibers. Built around a reinforced polymer shell, the Hunter Lite trims roughly 20% off the weight of the original Hunter stock while keeping the rugged, field-ready features hunters rely on.

Internally, the Hunter Lite uses a V-block bedding system with integrated steel pillars for consistent barrel contact and repeatable accuracy without the need for bedding compounds. The integrated magazine well accepts AICS-compatible short action magazines from Magpul and other manufacturers, feeding reliably from a detachable box magazine, and stamped steel over-insertion tabs keep the magazine seated properly under field use.

Up front, the slimmer forend is fitted with multiple M-LOK slots for mounting a bipod, sling, or other accessories. An ambidextrous magazine release makes the rifle equally friendly to right- and left-handed shooters, and the adjustable comb and length of pull let the stock be tuned for a comfortable cheek weld and proper fit.

Finished in Flat Dark Earth and weighing approximately 2.8 lbs, the Hunter Lite drops straight onto a Savage AXIS or AXIS II short action receiver as a true drop-in fit. Manufactured in the USA by Magpul Industries.
