The Magnum Research Desert Eagle Mark XIX is a heavy-duty, gas-operated, single-action semi-automatic pistol chambered in .357 Magnum. Purpose-built for personal protection and sport shooting, the Mark XIX pairs a six-inch barrel with a top Picatinny accessory rail, a nine-round detachable magazine, and the unmistakable Desert Eagle profile in a black finish over a carbon steel beavertail frame.

At the heart of the DE357 is a six-inch barrel that gives this Mark XIX its long sight radius and flat-shooting performance. The barrel is topped with a Picatinny rail for mounting optics or accessories. The slide is machined with serrations front and rear for positive press checks and easy manipulation, and a black finish runs across the slide, frame, and barrel for a uniform look. The carbon steel beavertail frame extends up behind the rear of the slide to protect the shooter's web during recoil.

The action is a gas-operated, single-action-only (SAO) semi-automatic, fed from a detachable nine-round magazine for a 9+1 capacity in .357 Magnum. An ambidextrous safety is set up for right- or left-hand operation, and the trigger reach measures 2.75".
