The Magnum Research BFR ("Biggest, Finest Revolver") is a single-action handgun purpose-built around the largest production revolver cartridges in the world. This large-frame Long Cylinder configuration is chambered in 500 S&W Magnum, pairing the BFR's robust stainless-steel action with the recoil management and sight radius of a 7.50" barrel.

A precision-grade 7.50" brushed stainless barrel is matched to a 5-shot cylinder, both finished in a low-glare brushed stainless surface that runs across the barrel, cylinder, and frame. Built on Magnum Research's large frame size, the revolver measures 15" overall and tips the scales at 4.50 lbs, giving the 500 S&W platform the heft needed to make big-bore shooting controllable at the bench or on the hunt.

Traditional single-action handling is preserved with an exposed hammer for deliberate one-at-a-time cocking, a fixed front blade paired with an adjustable rear sight, and factory black rubber grips.
