The Magnum Research BFR Long Cylinder is a large-frame, single-action revolver chambered in .460 S&W Magnum, billed by Magnum Research as the most powerful production single-action revolver made. The BFR (Big Frame Revolver) pairs a hefty all-stainless steel platform with the knockdown authority of a true big-bore hunting handgun.

This configuration mates a 10" brushed stainless barrel to a matching brushed stainless unfluted cylinder and a brushed stainless large frame, finished uniformly across the tube, drum, and grip frame for a clean, purpose-built look. Iron sights consist of a fixed front blade paired with an adjustable rear, and the exposed hammer provides positive single-action cocking and a clean trigger pull for precise shot placement. The complete package weighs 4.70 lbs and stretches 17.50" overall, giving the BFR a substantial, well-balanced feel in the hand that helps tame magnum-class recoil.
