MagnetoSpeed Sporter Barrel-Mount Ballistic Chronograph

The MagnetoSpeed Sporter is a compact barrel-mount ballistic chronograph designed for the handloader who wants accurate muzzle-velocity data without setting up a full range station. MagnetoSpeed's patented electromagnetic sensor technology delivers precise velocity readings by sensing the bullet as it passes through a pair of sensors clamped to the rifle's barrel, so there are no light gates, fragile optics, or downrange setups to fuss with.

Built for everyday rifle use, the Sporter fits barrels from 0.5" to 1.0" in diameter, making it ideal for the contoured and tapered muzzles found on most sporting and tactical rifles. It also accommodates muzzle brakes and flash hiders up to 2.7" in length, so most factory and aftermarket muzzle devices stay installed for testing. The quick-attach strapping system with a metal buckle and triad thumb nut locks the unit solidly to the barrel, while the integrated 3.5-foot sensor cord gives plenty of reach to your shooting bench or ballistic computer.
