The Luth-AR HG-A1 is a reproduction A1-style AR-15 handguard built around a glass-filled polymer outer shell with internal aluminum heat shields, designed to capture the look and feel of the classic triangular handguards carried on early M16-pattern rifles. This drop-in handguard is a natural fit for retro build projects, A1-pattern parts builds, and anyone outfitting a fixed-stock rifle with period-correct furniture without paying collector prices for original GI parts.

At roughly 12" in overall length, the HG-A1 follows the original A1 handguard profile and installs using the standard front sight post handguard cap and delta ring arrangement found on A1 and A2 upper receivers. The polymer construction keeps weight light while the aluminum heat shield liner reflects barrel heat back toward the action, protecting the support hand during extended strings of fire.
