The Luth-AR A1 Assembled Upper Receiver is a faithful reproduction of the classic M16A1 upper, machined from durable 7075-T6 aluminum forgings and finished in a wear-resistant black hardcoat anodized coating. Chambered for .223 Rem / 5.56 NATO, this assembled upper drops onto any standard AR-15 or M16 pattern lower receiver, making it the foundation for an authentic retro build.

The A1 profile is topped with the early-style A1 carry handle that integrates a fixed rear sight, capturing the iconic look and feel of the Vietnam-era M16A1 rifle adopted in the late 1960s as a lighter, more reliable successor to the original M16.
