The Lucid Optics HD7 Gen III is a full-size 1x reflex red dot sight built around a 34mm objective lens and a rugged cast 6063 aluminum housing. Designed for fast, both-eyes-open target acquisition on rifles and shotguns, the HD7 ships with a 2 MOA base reticle and offers multiple selectable reticle patterns to match the shooter's preference.

Optical performance centers on the 34mm objective paired with a 20mm ocular, delivering a generous 35 ft @ 100 yd field of view. The sight is parallax free and sits at a lower 1/3 co-witness height, making it a natural pairing with standard AR-height fixed iron sights. A built-in Picatinny mount is integrated into the base for quick, secure attachment to any standard 1913 rail.

Durability is a hallmark of the HD7 platform. The housing is 100% waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof, rated to handle the recoil of hard-kicking loads including .458 SOCOM. The unit is powered by a single, easy-to-source AAA battery with a 2-hour auto shut-off to preserve runtime.
