Liberty Ammunition Civil Defense 38 Special 50gr Lead Free Fragmenting Hollow Point - Box or Case

The Liberty Ammunition Civil Defense line is patented, lead-free high-performance ammunition engineered around the 38 Special cartridge. Loaded with a lightweight 50 gr lead-free fragmenting hollow point, this round is built around a monolithic nickel-plated copper bullet designed to break apart on impact for an aggressive wound channel.

The Civil Defense projectile is constructed from solid copper and features a deep cavity hollow point that fragments into multiple pieces upon striking soft tissue. The lightweight 50 gr bullet leaves the barrel at a velocity of 1500 fps, generating 250 ft lbs of muzzle energy from a 38 Special platform with brass casings.

Each box contains 20 rounds. Full cases ship with 50 boxes (1000 rounds) of the same production lot. The Civil Defense round is intended for personal protection and home defense applications.
