The Leupold Freedom RDS is a purpose-built 1x reflex-style red dot sight built around a 34mm main tube and an illuminated 1 MOA red dot reticle, delivering a fast, both-eyes-open aiming solution for AR-pattern carbines and sporting rifles. The sight ships complete with Leupold's AR-pattern one-piece mount, so it bolts right onto any flattop receiver without the need for a separate ring set.

At the optical core sits Leupold's Professional-Grade Red Dot Optical System, pairing a 42mm objective with scratch-resistant lens coatings for an edge-to-edge sight picture that holds up to hard field use. The illuminated reticle runs on a widely available CR2032 battery and is backed by Leupold's Motion Sensor Technology (MST), which puts the dot to sleep when the optic sits still and instantly wakes it the moment the firearm moves - extending battery life without ever pressing a button.

Windage and elevation adjustments click in precise 0.25 MOA increments through finger-adjustable turrets, and the sight provides unlimited eye relief with a wide field of view so the dot tracks naturally no matter how the rifle is mounted or shouldered.
