Leupold BackCountry Ring Mount 30mm High Matte Black Aluminum - Weatherby Mark V

The Leupold BackCountry ring mount is a 2-piece base and ring system purpose-built to fit the Weatherby Mark V (9 Lug) and Vanguard action. Precision-machined from 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, this mount delivers a strong, lightweight platform for securing a riflescope directly to the rifle's receiver.

The BackCountry system uses a reversible front base design that lets you swap orientation for additional mounting flexibility, while the integrated 30mm rings accept any scope with a 30mm maintube. The high ring height provides 1.10" of mount height from the top of the receiver to the ring center, giving clearance for larger objective lenses and a proper cheek weld across a range of optic configurations.

Finished in a low-glare matte black coating, the BackCountry ring mount blends cleanly with most factory barreled actions. A low-profile keeper screw keeps the optic secured in the rings without snagging on gear or brush, and Leupold recommends 22 in-lbs of torque on the base/receiver screws and 28 in-lbs on the ring top screws.
