The Leupold BackCountry Cross-Slot Scope Base is a one-piece mounting base engineered specifically for the Nosler Model 21 short action rifle. Built around Leupold's lightweight Cross-Slot platform, the base accepts both Picatinny- and Weaver-style rings, giving you full freedom to choose the ring height, brand, and configuration that best fits your optics and shooting setup.

The base is precision-machined from 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum for an outstanding strength-to-weight ratio, then finished in non-reflective matte black to blend with most factory rifle finishes. A built-in 20 MOA cant shifts the optic's elevation window downrange, providing extra internal adjustment when dialing for long-range shots. The base measures 6.70 inches overall and mounts directly to the Nosler M21 receiver.
