The Leupold BackCountry Cross-Slot Base is a precision-machined one-piece scope base purpose-built for the Weatherby Vanguard Short Action rifle. Cut from a solid billet of 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, it delivers a lightweight yet exceptionally rigid mounting platform backed by Leupold's lifetime guarantee.

This base is built with an integrated 20 MOA of forward cant, providing the extra elevation travel long-range shooters need to push optics out beyond standard zero distances. The Cross-Slot design accepts both Picatinny (MIL-STD-1913) and Weaver-style rings, giving the shooter freedom to pair the base with virtually any quality ring set in the Leupold BackCountry family or from other major manufacturers.
