The Leupold BackCountry Cross-Slot Base is a precision scope mounting platform machined from 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and finished in a non-reflective matte black coating. Purpose-built for the Nosler M21 Short Action receiver, this rugged 1-piece base measures 6.30" in length and provides a lightweight, repeatable foundation for mounting a riflescope on one of Nosler's premium bolt-action hunting rifles.

The BackCountry Cross-Slot design accepts both Picatinny and Weaver-style rings, giving shooters the flexibility to pair the base with their preferred ring system. The integrated 20 MOA incline adds elevation to the scope's internal adjustment range, making this base an excellent choice for long-range shooting where additional elevation is required to compensate for bullet drop at extended distances.
