The Leupold BackCountry Cross-Slot Base is a precision-machined 1-piece scope base cut from 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum for a lightweight yet exceptionally rugged mounting platform. Finished in matte black and measuring 5.90" in length, the base accepts both Picatinny- and Weaver-style rings, giving shooters flexibility in ring selection for their optic of choice.

This base is specifically engineered to fit the Browning X-Bolt Short Action rifle and is built with a 20 MOA cant that shifts the scope's elevation adjustment upward, providing additional internal adjustment for long-range and precision shooting applications where extra elevation becomes critical. The Cross-Slot design works seamlessly with Leupold's BackCountry ring lineup for a clean, repeatable mount.
