The Leupold BackCountry Cross-Slot 1-Piece Scope Base delivers a rugged, lightweight mounting platform purpose-built for the Winchester Model 70 Short Action rifle. Machined from 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and finished in non-reflective matte black, this one-piece base provides a solid foundation for precision optics in the field and at the range.

Built on Leupold's cross-slot footprint, this base accepts both Picatinny and Weaver-style rings, giving you complete flexibility in ring selection. The base is machined with a 20 MOA incline built into its mounting surface.

Measuring 5.90" in overall length, the base is contoured to span the short-action receiver of the Winchester 70 for a clean, low-profile fit. Mounting hardware is included for direct installation to the rifle's receiver; rings are sold separately.
