The Leupold BackCountry cross-slot base is a precision-machined, 1-piece scope mount designed specifically for the Weatherby Vanguard Short Action rifle. Cut from a single piece of 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, it delivers a rock-solid, lightweight interface between your optic and the rifle receiver.

The cross-slot design accepts both Picatinny and Weaver-style rings, giving shooters maximum eye relief and versatile ring placement for virtually any optic configuration. A matte black finish rounds out the base for snag-free field use.
