The Leupold BackCountry Cross-Slot base is a one-piece scope mount precision-engineered for the Sauer 202 short action rifle. Machined from 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, this base delivers a lightweight yet rigid mounting platform finished in non-reflective matte black to eliminate glare in the shooter's sight picture.

The base integrates a 20 MOA slope into its single-piece construction, adding critical elevation for long-range shooting applications where a standard base runs out of adjustment. Its Cross-Slot design accepts both Picatinny and Weaver-style rings, letting the shooter pair the base with virtually any modern ringset and optic combination without the need for an adapter.
