The Leupold BackCountry Cross-Slot one-piece scope base is precision machined from 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum to deliver a lightweight yet exceptionally rigid optics platform. At a compact 5.90" overall length and finished in a corrosion-resistant matte black hard-coat anodize, this base drops directly onto a Browning AB3 Short Action receiver to anchor your scope under hunting and long-range conditions.

Built around Leupold's Cross-Slot mounting pattern, the base accepts both Picatinny and Weaver-style rings, so you can pair it with virtually any standard-ring scope. The non-reflective matte finish keeps glare off the optic in bright light.

Recommended torque for the base/receiver screws is 22 in-lbs. The package includes the base only; rings are not included.
