Leupold 51734 Standard Base 1-Piece Matte Black - Remington 700 Long Range Short Action

The Leupold 51734 Standard Base is a one-piece scope mount forged and machined from steel and finished in non-reflective matte black. It is purpose-built to accept Leupold Standard rings on a Remington 700 Long Range rifle in right-hand short action configuration, and the same Long Range mounting footprint also fits Remington 721 and 725 actions that share it.

Built for the longer action envelope of the 700 Long Range, this one-piece base clamps directly to the receiver to deliver a rigid, repeatable mounting platform at any Standard ring height. The base incorporates a built-in 15 MOA upward slope, adding extra elevation travel to the optic for long-range shooting. A windage-adjustable body lets you precisely align the scope laterally before the ring caps are torqued down, and the matte black finish blends cleanly with most factory and aftermarket rifle finishes.

Leupold specifies 22 in-lbs of torque on the base/receiver screws and 45 in-lbs on the windage screws for a secure, repeatable install. Standard rings are sold separately.
