The Leupold 51732 Standard Base is a rugged one-piece scope base purpose-built for the Remington 700 Long Range rifle in a right-hand, long-action configuration. Machined from steel and finished in a low-glare Matte Black, this base is part of Leupold's most versatile mounting system, engineered to provide a precise and repeatable foundation for optics on a workhorse bolt-action platform.

Built into the rail is a 15 MOA forward cant, giving long-range shooters extra elevation in their scope's adjustment range to compensate for bullet drop at extended distances. The base mounts directly to the receiver via Leupold's classic rotary dovetail engagement and is designed to receive Leupold Standard (STD) rings (rings sold separately), allowing the shooter to choose from five different ring heights to match their optic and shooting style.
