The Leupold 50008 Standard Base is a one-piece scope base machined from steel and finished in matte black, purpose-built to mount a rifle scope on the receiver of a Browning A-Bolt short-action rifle. Built to Leupold's exacting tolerances, this base delivers a rock-solid, repeatable platform that holds zero when the optic is removed and remounted.

Leupold engineered this Standard Base for a precise, model-specific fit on the Browning A-Bolt (including the A-Bolt II) and the Sako A7. The single, one-piece construction eliminates any alignment issues between separate front and rear bases, providing a uniform footprint for your optic. The low-glare matte black finish blends with factory rifle finishes for a clean look in the field and under optic covers.
