The Leupold 120092 Standard Base is a precision-machined 2-piece scope base built specifically for the Ruger American rifle. Manufactured from steel and finished in low-glare matte black, it provides a rock-solid mounting platform for your optic. This base pairs with Leupold's STD rings (sold separately) and is recommended for standard calibers less than .300 Win. Mag.

The set features a front base that accepts a dovetail ring and a reversible rear base, allowing the rear ring position to be flipped for optimal eye relief and forward mounting geometry. It mounts directly to the Ruger American's round receiver with a recommended base/receiver screw torque of 22 in-lbs and a windage screw torque of 45 in-lbs. The ambidextrous layout fits both right- and left-handed rifles.
