The Lehigh Defense Wide Flat Nose is a 300 grain, .452 caliber solid copper hunting projectile engineered for the heaviest class of revolver cartridges. Sized specifically for the .454 Casull, .45 Colt, and .460 S&W Magnum, this monolithic WFN gives handgun hunters a hard-hitting, lead-free bullet that holds together on the toughest game and drives a wide, straight wound channel through heavy tissue and bone.
Each Wide Flat Nose is machined from high tensile strength copper with an overall length of .920", producing a sectional density of .210 and a ballistic coefficient of .182 - figures well matched to the moderate velocities of large-bore magnum revolvers. The wide meplat cuts a broad initial wound, while the solid copper body retains virtually all of its weight and continues to penetrate well after conventional jacketed hollow points have failed. With no jacket to separate and no lead core to smear, this is a bullet purpose-built for dangerous game handgun work where penetration and weight retention matter most.
Sold in a 50-count box, these reloading bullets are intended for handloaders building serious hunting loads. Whether you are loading a heavy .45 Colt revolver round, a stout .454 Casull hunting load, or pushing a .460 S&W Magnum to its full potential, the Lehigh Wide Flat Nose gives you a reliable, deep-penetrating solid copper projectile for the largest, toughest game you can hunt with a big-bore handgun.
