The Lee Precision 90966 Deluxe 4-Die Set is a complete pistol reloading package for the .44 S&W Special and .44 Magnum straight-walled revolver cartridges. This Lee set pairs a carbide full-length sizing die and carbide factory crimp die with the matching powder-through expanding die and bullet seating die to give reloaders everything they need to start producing ammo from fired brass.

Because the sizing and crimp dies are carbide, cases can be run through the press without case lube, which speeds up the reloading process and eliminates the extra step of lubricating each case. The carbide full-length sizing die resizes fired brass back to factory SAAMI dimensions and includes an integrated decapping unit, while the carbide factory crimp die applies Lee's signature roll-crimp that simultaneously removes the flare from the case mouth and crimps the bullet in place for consistent neck tension.

The powder through expanding die bells the case mouth so jacketed or lead bullets can be seated without shaving material, and the bullet seating die lets the reloader dial in seating depth for reliable feeding and accuracy in any revolver. The die set is sized for the longer .44 Magnum case, which also handles the shorter .44 Special case for a true one-set solution across both cartridges.
