Lee Precision 90926 Collet Crimp Die 460 S&W Mag

The Lee 90926 is a collet-style crimp die designed specifically for reloading the 460 S&W Magnum cartridge. It is sold as a single die in the set (one die, no sizing die included), used to crimp loaded rounds for consistent bullet retention.

Unlike a conventional profile crimp die, the 90926 uses an internal collet to apply a rifle-style crimp directly to the case mouth. The collet squeezes the case uniformly around the bullet, so bullets do not need a crimp groove to anchor in place - the collet grips the bullet itself. This makes the die especially useful for handloaders working with cast or jacketed projectiles that lack a cannelure, and for producing firm, consistent crimps on 460 S&W ammunition.
