The Lee Precision 90784 Taper Crimp Die is a single-die reloading tool designed for the .44 Special and .44 Magnum pistol cartridges.

Machined from hardened steel, this taper crimp die applies a smooth, uniform taper to the case mouth rather than a roll crimp, helping to resolve crimp problems caused by poor die design. Taper crimp dies are intended for cartridges that headspace off the forward edge of the case mouth.

The die features the industry-standard 7/8"-14 thread pattern, so it threads into virtually any standard reloading press without an adapter. Sold as a single die, the 90784 is intended as the final step in your reloading process, applying the correct taper crimp to your finished rounds. A shellholder is not included.
