The Lee Precision 90522 Universal Shell Holder is a reloading accessory built to grip a single case securely during resizing and priming. Machined from hardened steel with a silver finish and made in the USA, this #5R (R5) shell holder drops into the shell plate of virtually any standard single-stage reloading press to provide a firm grip on the case head.

Sized to the #5R specification, the 90522 fits cartridges including the 270 WSM, 7mm Remington Magnum, 303 British, and 480 Ruger, plus additional rounds sharing the same shell holder footprint such as 223 WSSM, 243 WSSM, 25 WSSM, 257 Weatherby Magnum, 6.5 Remington Magnum, and 264 Winchester Magnum.

The holder installs in place of an existing shell holder in the press shell plate and grips the brass casing so the case can be resized, decapped, or primed without slipping. It is compatible with virtually any standard single-stage reloading press and is not designed for use with the Lee Auto Prime hand tool.
