Lee Precision 90401 Cutter & Lock Stud Large Case Trimmer

The Lee Precision 90401 Cutter & Lock Stud is the large-diameter cutter head and drill-mounted lock stud for the Lee case trimmer system. Purpose-built for trimming the big-bore bottleneck and straight-wall cases on your reloading bench, this 2-piece set covers cases .475 caliber and larger, including 50 BMG, 480 Ruger, and 500 S&W.

The hardened steel cutter head pilots on the case mouth to shave brass to a consistent length, while the included lock stud threads into the cutter and presents a 3/8" shaft that drops into the chuck of any common drill or drill press for hands-free spinning. The cutter is compatible with Lee case trimmers that use the cutter-and-lock-stud format, and it also works with the RCBS Trim Pro and similar case trimmers that accept the same cutter geometry.

Finished in silver and weighing 18 oz, the 90401 is an economical way to keep a Lee (or compatible) case trimmer cutting cleanly on the largest handgun and rifle cases on your bench. The cutter trims one shell at a time and is used in conjunction with Lee case length gauges and shell holders to hold and set exact trim length.
