The Lee Precision 90138 Case Length Gauge is a precision 2-piece steel reloading tool purpose-built for the 300 Savage cartridge. This compact gauge pairs a caliber-specific case length gauge with a matching shell holder in one convenient package, giving reloaders an accurate, repeatable way to trim fired cases back to factory-spec length and square the case mouth at the same time.

After a case has been loaded and fired a few times, it stretches beyond maximum safe length and must be trimmed. Lee's case length gauge makes that step quick and consistent: the case is held in the included shell holder, then the Lee Cutter/Lock Stud or Zip Trim (sold separately) does the trimming, leaving every case cut to the same uniform length with a properly squared mouth ready for resizing and reloading.
