The LANTAC USA Lamprey Flash Hider is a compact muzzle device engineered for .223 Remington / 5.56 NATO AR-pattern rifles. This is the short configuration of the Lamprey, built around LANTAC's patented four-tine toothed design that breaks up propellant gas flow to dramatically reduce muzzle flash intensity and duration compared to a standard A2 birdcage.

The Lamprey Short is machined from AISI4140 steel and hardened to 48-52Rc for long service life under hard use. It measures just 1.75 inches long with a 0.900 inch mount diameter, keeping the front of your rifle light and unobtrusive. A 1/2x28 thread pitch mates it directly to standard .223/5.56 barrels, while the Plan B mounting interface allows quick swap-out between compatible LANTAC muzzle devices and suppressor mounts.
