Kynshot RB5000 AR-15 Carbine Hydraulic Buffer - Stainless

The Kynshot RB5000 is a hydraulic recoil buffer designed for AR-15 carbines with collapsible stocks and a Mil-Spec carbine buffer tube with 7" internal depth. It installs as a direct replacement for a conventional carbine buffer and is compatible with any style of buffer spring.

The hydraulic damping system manages the bolt carrier's rearward recoil impulse, reduces bolt speed and helps prevent bolt bounce during chambering. Kynshot reports 30% recoil reduction, reduced muzzle movement and optic vibration, and less recovery time between shots.

The RB5000 is constructed throughout from high-strength 17-4 stainless steel and has a stainless and silver finish. It uses Mil-Spec hydraulic fluid and seals and has a certified operating-temperature range of -30 F to 150 F. The buffer measures 3.65" long, 3.25" when compressed and 0.69" in diameter. It weighs 4.2 oz.

Manufacturer-listed AR-15 caliber compatibility includes .223 Remington, 5.56x45mm NATO, .204, 6.5 Grendel, 6.8 SPC, 7.62x39mm, 7.62x40 Wilson, 350 Legend and 450 Bushmaster. Kynshot also lists the POF-USA .308 Revolution as compatible. The RB5000 is rated for full-automatic firearms. It is not intended for pistol-caliber carbines or direct-blowback PCC systems.
