Kinetic Development Group MREX MkII FN SCAR Rail 6.5" M-LOK Handguard - FDE

The Kinetic Development Group MREX MkII is a 6.5" free-float M-LOK handguard purpose-built for the FN SCAR platform. The MREX (Modular Receiver Extension) replaces the factory SCAR handguard with a longer, more modular platform that gives end users expanded real estate for accessories, improved cooling, and a more comfortable grip across a variety of shooting positions.

This 6.5" MREX MkII is the full-length option in the series and is sized as a direct replacement for the factory rail on standard-barrel FN SCAR 16S and FN SCAR 17S rifles. The extended design carries forward the original MREX footprint while upgrading the mounting interface to full M-LOK compatibility, so lights, grips, lasers, and other accessories mount cleanly without specialized clamps. Two M-LOK Picatinny rail sections are included so the shooter can attach optics or other 1913-spec accessories right out of the box.

The MREX MkII is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and finished with Type III hard-coat anodizing in a low-visibility Flat Dark Earth (FDE) finish that pairs with Magpul FDE accessories and resists corrosion and wear on the rail. The free-float design keeps the rail clear of the barrel, and the handguard ships with a pre-installed bridge in the box to simplify installation.
