Kimber Mountain Ascent Peak 30-06 Springfield 24" 4+1 Bolt-Action Rifle

The Kimber Mountain Ascent Peak is a lightweight mountain rifle built around a bolt-action design chambered in the classic 30-06 Springfield cartridge. Intended for hunters who need a rifle that is easy to carry over rough terrain, the Mountain Ascent Peak pairs a precision stainless steel match grade threaded barrel with an aluminum receiver and a carbon fiber-reinforced stock for a platform that is both rigid and remarkably light.

At the heart of the rifle is a 24" match grade threaded barrel fitted with a muzzle brake for reduced felt recoil and faster follow-up shots. The barrel uses a 1:10 twist and is threaded to accept a suppressor using the included 5/8x24 adapter. The action is paired with an adjustable trigger and a 3-position safety, giving the shooter precise control in the field. The rifle ships without iron sights, leaving the top of the action ready for the shooter's preferred optic.

The receiver is machined from aluminum and mated to a fixed stock built around a full-length aluminum bedding block with a carbon fiber-reinforced shell. The bedding system runs nearly the full length of the stock for a stable, repeatable foundation that delivers consistent accuracy shot after shot. At just 6.10 lbs empty and an overall length of 45.25", the Mountain Ascent Peak is built to be carried deep into the backcountry.
