The Kimber KDS9c Dovetail Rear Sight Optic Plates Kit is a purpose-built optic-mounting accessory that lets owners of the Kimber KDS9c pistol fit a Docter/Noblex footprint micro red dot to their slide while still retaining a fully functional dovetailed rear sight for co-witnessed backup iron sights. The precision-machined steel adaptor plate drops into the factory rear sight dovetail and provides a secure, low-profile mounting platform for Docter/Noblex-pattern red dots and similar optics.

Unlike a simple blank plate, this Kimber-designed solution integrates a windage-adjustable dovetailed rear sight directly into the optic mount, giving shooters a redundant sighting system should the optic fail or be removed. The plate is contoured specifically for the KDS9c slide profile, so the mounted optic sits at the correct height and offers a clean sight picture.
