The Killer Instinct Deadstop decocking bolt is purpose-built for safe crossbow discharge after a hunt or at the end of a practice session. Rather than firing a standard hunting bolt into the ground, the Deadstop uses a Dual-Tier Stop Ring design that bleeds off velocity on impact so the bolt stops instantly without burrowing into the dirt.

The 22" bolt is built around an ultra-dense stainless steel core overmolded with a tough composite skin, giving it the mass and durability to absorb repeated high-energy ground strikes from today's hard-hitting crossbows. Built to a standard .348" crossbolt diameter, the 22" length fits the majority of bows set up for a 22" crossbolt.

Visibility matters when you are unloading a crossbow in low light, so the Deadstop is finished with a highly reflective wrap and bright fluorescent vanes that make it easy to locate after the shot.
