The Kershaw Leek is a classic every-day-carry folding knife designed by Ken Onion, and this 1660SWBLK version dresses the proven platform in a stealthy all-black configuration with a stonewashed blade. It is a slim, lightweight, assisted-opening folder that disappears in the pocket and deploys fast when you need it.
The 3" modified drop-point blade is ground from Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel and finished with a stonewashed treatment that hides wear and resists glare. The drop-point profile excels at controlled slicing and detail work, while the slim tip carries enough point for piercing tasks. A plain edge keeps the cutting path clean and easy to resharpen in the field.
Deployment is handled by Kershaw's SpeedSafe assisted-opening system, which uses a built-in flipper tab to catch and drive the blade out as you push it open. A liner lock secures the blade in the open position, and the slim 7" overall length with a 4" closed length keeps the knife unobtrusive until it is needed.
The handle is machined from 6061-T6 anodized aluminum with a fade- and scratch-resistant black finish permanently bonded to the alloy. At just 2.40 oz, the Leek carries light enough for daily pocket carry, and the included deep-carry pocket clip lets it ride low and tip-up for discreet, secure transport.
Made in the USA by Kershaw (Kai USA Ltd.), the 1660SWBLK Leek delivers the same proven, slim EDC folder that has made the Leek a long-standing favorite, just with a darkened handle and a stonewashed finish that pairs well with any gear.
