The Kershaw Cryo 1555TI is a compact folding knife designed by Rick Hinderer and built around a rugged stainless steel frame. The Cryo delivers the clean lines and practical EDC geometry of the original series, finished here in a non-reflective gray titanium carbo-nitride (TiN) coating that runs across both blade and handle for a unified tactical look.
The 2.75" drop point blade is ground from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel and carries the same gray TiN finish as the handle. A high-flat grind and a practical belly make it equally at home opening boxes at the workbench or handling general everyday cutting tasks, and the plain edge is easy to maintain in the field with basic sharpening tools.
Deployment is handled by Kershaw's SpeedSafe assisted opening system, activated via an integrated flipper tab. A solid frame lock secures the blade in the open position for confident lockup during use. The knife measures 6.50" overall with a closed length of 3.75" and a carry weight of 4.10 oz.
The handle uses a gray PVD-coated stainless steel construction that matches the blade finish and shrugs off daily wear. A reversible pocket clip is mounted for tip-up or tip-down carry, allowing ambidextrous pocket deployment for left- or right-handed users. Designed as an entry-level Hinderer collaboration, the Cryo 1555TI delivers SpeedSafe-assisted performance in a compact, easy-to-carry package.
