The Kershaw CQC-7K is a heavy-duty folding everyday-carry knife born from the partnership between Kershaw and tactical knife designer Ernest Emerson. Built around Emerson's iconic CQC (Close Quarters Combat) design language, this purpose-built folder is sized for confident pocket carry while delivering serious cutting performance.
The blade is a 3.25" American Tanto profile forged from 8Cr14MoV stainless steel with a striking two-tone satin and stonewashed finish. The modified tanto geometry pairs a reinforced tip for piercing with a high flat section for slicing, and the plain edge is well suited to a wide range of EDC cutting tasks.
Opening is handled by the patented Emerson Wave Shaped Feature (Emerson Opener), which catches the pocket seam as the knife is drawn and deploys the blade automatically. A sturdy frame lock secures the blade under heavy use, while the contoured handle pairs bead-blasted stainless steel liners with black G-10 scale overlays for a secure, all-conditions grip.
The CQC-7K measures 7.75" overall with a 4.50" closed length and tips the scales at just 5 oz, striking an excellent balance between hand-filling capability and pocket-friendly carry. A pocket clip is included for convenient everyday carry.
