The Kel-Tec SUB-2000 Defender is a 9mm Luger semi-automatic carbine built around Glock-pattern pistol magazines. As part of Kel-Tec's SUB-2000 pistol-caliber carbine family, it pairs familiar 9mm ammunition with a folding rifle platform built for versatility and compact storage.

The carbine is built around a 16.25" threaded barrel with a 1/2x28 thread pitch, ready for a suppressor or muzzle device. The semi-automatic action cycles standard 9mm Luger ammunition, and the rifle ships with one 15-round Glock-pattern magazine and accepts additional Glock 9mm pistol magazines. Adjustable iron sights are installed at the factory, and the furniture is built around a durable black polymer frame with a blued metal finish.

The SUB-2000's signature folding design pivots the stock alongside the receiver, collapsing the carbine to roughly 16.25" for stowage in a pack or carry bag. Deployed for shooting, the overall length runs to 30.5". Made in the USA by Kel-Tec, the SUB-2000 Defender offers a uniquely compact pistol-caliber carbine option for shooters who already own Glock-pattern 9mm magazines.
