The Ka-Bar US Army Fighting/Utility Knife is the iconic American-made combat and utility blade patterned after the legendary Mark 2 fighting knife carried by U.S. troops since WWII. Built for hard use in the field, this full-size fixed blade is forged from 1095 Cro-Van high-carbon steel with a flat grind and a 7" clip-point profile that pairs a razor plain edge with a partially serrated section for cutting rope, webbing, and other tough fibrous materials.
The handle is built from stacked and compressed leather washers for a classic, secure grip that only improves with age. A steel crossguard and pommel provide control during heavy chopping or thrust work. The blade carries the US Army insignia and is finished in a durable black coating. Overall length measures 11.875" with an approximate weight of 0.7 lb.
This Model 1219 ships with a traditional leather sheath for belt carry. Proudly Made in the USA, the Ka-Bar 1219 is trusted by military personnel, hunters, campers, and knife enthusiasts as a do-it-all fixed blade for the field.
