The Ka-Bar BK62 Becker Kephart is a classic American bushcraft fixed blade knife built true to the original Kephart pattern, pairing a full-tang 5.13" drop point blade of 1095 Cro-Van carbon steel with a satin stonewashed finish and traditional walnut handle scales.
Produced in collaboration with Becker Knife & Tool, the BK62 Kephart features a plain edge blade hardened to 56-58 HRC for a good balance of edge retention and ease of sharpening in the field. The full-tang steel construction runs the full 9.63" overall length of the knife, giving it the strength needed for serious woods work, while the contoured walnut scales provide a comfortable, secure grip during heavier chopping and batoning chores.
At 6.40 oz, the Kephart is light enough for all-day carry in the field yet substantial enough to handle camp chores, food prep, and general bushcraft tasks. The classic drop point profile and traditional walnut handle make this a faithful modern recreation of a legendary American woods-working knife.
Each BK62 ships with a brown leather belt sheath for safe carry and quick access in the field. Made in the USA, the Becker Kephart delivers heritage design with modern Ka-Bar craftsmanship.
