The Ka-Bar 2211 Big Brother is a full-size fixed blade knife built for serious field, tactical, and outdoor work. Part of Ka-Bar's Kraton G series, the Big Brother stretches to a commanding 14.38" overall length with a 9.38" blade - sized for heavy-duty cutting, chopping, and utility tasks. The blade is forged from 1095 Cro-Van high-carbon steel and finished with a non-reflective black epoxy powder coat, giving it a tough, low-glare surface that stands up to hard use. The edge profile is plain with a top serrated / bottom straight configuration, giving the user a clean cutting edge on the bottom and aggressive saw-like teeth on the spine for cutting cordage, rope, and fibrous material.

The handle is molded from black Kraton G, a synthetic rubber-like material that delivers a secure, slip-resistant grip even when wet or gloved.
