The Ka-Bar 1317 Dog's Head Utility Knife is a rugged fixed blade built in the USA for bushcraft, camping, and general outdoor use. Drawing on the brand's classic fighting-knife heritage, the Dog's Head pairs an oversized handle with a hardworking 7" clip point profile built for serious camp chores.

The blade is cut from 1095 Cro-Van carbon steel with a plain edge and a black epoxy powder coated finish for corrosion resistance. It measures 7" long with a 0.165" blade thickness and a 1.188" blade width, giving real chopping authority while still slicing cleanly. The overall length comes in at 12" for plenty of leverage in hand.

Ka-Bar wraps the full tang in an oval, stacked brown leather handle, a traditional construction that fills the palm and gives excellent grip security. A black epoxy powder coated carbon steel guard and butt cap bookend the handle for added protection and control.
