The Ka-Bar 1271 Fighter is a large, purpose-built fixed-blade combat knife designed for defensive use and heavy-duty utility work. Made in the USA by Ka-Bar, the Fighter carries the aggressive profile and double guard of a classic fighting knife, ready for military, law enforcement, hunting, survival, and general outdoor tasks.

The 8" clip-point blade is ground from 1095 Cro-Van high-carbon steel, Ka-Bar's signature blade alloy prized for toughness and edge retention. A part-serrated edge pairs a plain section for clean cuts with a serrated section for tackling rope, webbing, and other fibrous material. The blade carries a non-reflective black finish to minimize glare in the field.

The handle is molded from Kraton G thermoplastic elastomer in black, providing a secure, slip-resistant grip even when wet. A double guard at the ricasso shields the user's hand during hard cutting or defensive work. The knife measures 12.81" overall and weighs approximately 12 oz.
