Ka-Bar 1213 Full Size 7" Fixed Blade Fighting/Utility Knife - Black Kraton G - Plastic Sheath

The Ka-Bar 1213 is the modern, all-black production version of the legendary U.S. military fighting/utility knife. Built in the USA to Ka-Bar's full-size spec, it pairs a tough 7" clip point blade with a high-traction handle and ships ready to work in the included hard plastic sheath.

The blade is cut from 1095 Cro-Van high-carbon steel (Rc 56-58), differentially heat treated for a hard cutting edge and a tough spring-tempered spine, and finished in a non-reflective black coating. The plain (straight) edge clip point profile is a proven utility shape for field dressing, bushcraft, and general cutting tasks, with a 0.165" blade thickness and an overall length of 11.875".

Handle ergonomics are handled by Ka-Bar's black Kraton G grip - a slip-resistant, shock-absorbing elastomer that stays secure even when wet or cold. A 12GA commercial grade carbon steel crossguard protects the hand at the choil. Approximate weight is 0.7 lb (knife only).
